Fire breaks out on plane with 176 people on board

An airplane carrying 176 people was engulfed in flames in South Korea, almost a month to the day that a Jeju Air jet crashed, killing 179 people on board.

The fire broke out in the tail section of the low-cost Air Busan plane, bound for Hong Kong, at Gimhae Airport. There were 169 passengers and seven crew members on board when the smoke was detected as the aircraft was being prepared for takeoff. People were sent running for their lives as flames began spreading within minutes.
