Young Girl Abducted from Mosque While Praying and Assaulted
This is the horrific moment a teenage boy snatched a young girl as she worshipped in a mosque and then sexually assaulted her behind closed doors.
The 19-year-old suspect, since seized by police, was caught in the act on security CCTV at the mosque in Batang Kali, Selangor, Malaysia, on February 21. In the grim footage, the suspect wearing a yellow T-shirt can be seen emerging from an office and running behind a row of praying women. As all women are knelt down, he can be seen picking up the young girl, who appears to be no older than 10.
The sick kidnapper is then seen running back into the office with the girl as she struggled in his arms. All of this appears to be happening while the row of praying women simply carry on with their prayers. Another CCTV camera then picks up the horrific moment that appears to show the teen attacker trying to pull the girl’s trousers down.
She can be seen desperately trying to fight him off, and can be seen crying out loud. After a few seconds of struggling, the attacker suddenly flees, seemingly to avoid getting caught.
The clip ends with his terrified victim tearfully pulling her trousers back up and hobbling out of the room while clutching her stomach. Local police chief Superintendent Ahmad Faizal Tahrim told local media the next day they had identified and arrested the teen and are holding him in custody for seven days.
He said: ‘We have arrested the suspect. Investigations are underway.
‘Initial investigations found that the man involved did not know the victim.’
Some reports said the teen suffers from a disability but police told local media they were not aware of this.
